Ok, we have made some more changes to the forums. You may or may not have noticed some changes to the groups, so this post is going to tell you what we have done and are still working on doing. What we have done is changed some group ranks and removed others for our new promotional system that is still being worked on. When the promotion system is done, 911 will post saying how it works in this thread.
I am not go into great detail about the promotion system, only enough that you know how the groups will work and what to look forward to. So, I will start off with listing the added groups, then the changed/deleted groups. After the groups are listed, i will explain how they work.
GROUPS ADDED: The group "Active Civilians" was added.
GROUPS CHANGED: The group "Moderators" was renamed to “Federal Police“; The group "Beat the Heat Representatives" was changed to a hidden group.
GROUPS REMOVED: The group "WUIS" was removed; The group "Maintenance Shop" was removed.
Ok, now, onto explaining what each group does and how the groups operate. Lets start at the top, shall we.
-Sheriff
The top dogs of the forum. The Owner and Co-Owners group. normally only 2 members, but if we see someone with outstanding qualities; super active; and patients, we might add them to the group if we see fit.
-Federal Police
The members of this group are the Sheriff’s right hand men (and women, if any). They help keep the forums clean; help those needing help; and usually are Detectives; Lieutenants or Capitan’s for the department. We hope to have 5 someday, but for now we have 2. If we see some people with excellent qualities; very active; and patients, we might add them to the group if we see fit.
-State Police
The members of this group are the Federal Police’s right hand men (and women, if any). They help keep the forums clean; help those needing help; and usually are Task Force Division Officers or Sergeant’s for the department. We hope to have 5 someday, but for now we have 0. If we see some people with very good qualities; usually active; and patients, we might add them to the group if we see fit.
-Officer
This is probably your group right now, unless you have just registered or are of a higher rank. The members of this group are Patrol officers and usually are Rookies or Police Officers for the department. If you joined the WUPD as a police officer, you are in this group once you have made it known.
-Active Civilians
These members are not members of the WUPD, but are active on the forums.
Now, for a little teaser. Basically, you will be promoted to the next rank when you show is your abilities, as described in each groups description. you will have to pass 2 tests. also, there might be a prize for the "spot the chief's" event in the works. So, stay tuned, awaiting 911's update, and enjoy the new groups.
